The 4KSP12-S is a 1 x 2 HDMI splitter with scaler, reliably distributes one HDMI input signal to two outputs at resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. It follows HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0b specifications, including supported data rates up to 18 Gbps, HDR (high dynamic range), 3D and HD lossless audio formats.
With the built-in scaler, when connected to two different displays, the corresponding HDMI output is capable of scaling down automatically (down to 1080P) to feed an optimal output signal to its attached display.
The splitter provides HDCP management which continuously authenticates HDCP encryption between all devices, ensuring correct source content is output to each display. It also features automatic input cable equalization, actively conditions input HDMI signals to compensate for signal loss when using long cables or cascading multiple units.

I use this product to split the signal of an Xbox between a 4K TV and a full HD projector. Works very well and I get the signal as expected. Super simple to install, very quick delivery.
I wanted an HDMI splitter to feed both a 4K HDR monitor and a 4K HDR TV from my PS4 Pro and this works brilliantly. I had tried products from other manufacturers but returned them in disappointment when the quality wasn't of a good standard. So it's great that AV Access makes such a high-quality HDMI splitter that does exactly what I need. It's compact and once it was in place I didn't need to worry about it. Now I don't have to swap cables to switch between screens. It arrived within a few days of ordering, too - highly recommended.
I was reading through the reviews here and people seem to have some issues with this device, so when I got mine before I installed it, I threw it on my workbench to test a few things out.
People are writing about how the device doesn't push HDR to the displays connected that are capable of it; the important thing to remember here is that the device only pushes out the picture that your lowest-quality connected television can reproduce. So if you connect one that has stereo sound only, all will have only stereo sound. If you connect one that has HDR and one that hasn't, all will not have HDR.
I suspect this is a limitation by design to streamline the internal hardware, it's rather impressive on it's face that they can get this little box to convert 4K down to 1080p and back and still be responsive enough to play games with, so I'm assuming they have the device determine the lowest quality needed to show, and then output that to both for simplicity. Honestly you're going to be hard pressed to find something like this that doesn't do that; in order to work as some seem to want it to, the device would have to decode, then re-encode two different HDMI streams, while juggling the rest of the overhead of operating HDMI.
All in all, this is fantastic value for money, even if the way it operates isn't immediately clear.
