Newest 4×4 4K HDMI2.0 Matrix Switcher
4KMX44-H2 is a 4×4 compact HDMI matrix switcher, specially designed for cost conscious projects and buyers. It features not only basic functions like cross-point switching and control (IR, RS-232, IP), but also advanced functions like auto-downscaling for each HDMI output when it is connected to 1080P display. With its compact and handy design, you can freely install it in sports bars, digital signages, control centers, etc.
Main Features:
- 4 HDMI Inputs and 4 HDMI Outputs.
- All HDMI inputs and outputs support HDMI with HDR formats, including HDR 10, HLG, DOLBY VISION up to [email protected] 444.
- HDCP2.2 compliant.
- With built-in 4K-1080P downscaler for each HDMI Output, the matrix can downscale [email protected] 4: 4: 4 to [email protected] 4: 4: 4. 4K downscaler can work automatically when the matrix is connected to 1080P display and can be set to ON/OFF by API commands.
- Each HDMI output has a SPDIF audio breakout, and supports formats up to 5CH HBR or 2CH PCM audio.
- Supports smart EDID, each input can be assigned to smart EDID mode.
- Supports EDID presets, EDID copy and EDID write. By default, each input EDID is set as [email protected] 4: 4: 4 HDR with 5.1CH encoded audio
- Supports audio mute, four SPDIF outputs can be muted separately by API commands
- Supports upgrading firmware via both micro-USB and web UI (for MCU and web module).

Troubleshooting FAQ
- Check if the corresponding input source has been switched to the corresponding output port.
- Check your HDMI cables, or use new cables.
- Try restarting the matrix switch to check if it helps.
- Check if your display device supports HDCP.
- Try connecting the source to the display device directly, without using the matrix switch. Then check if there is any video output.
- Try connecting the source to the display device directly, without using the matrix switch. Then check if you set “Dolby Vision”.
- Log in to the matrix switch’s web interface, and set the input’s EDID mode to copy the corresponding output’s EDID.
- Check if the corresponding HDMI output port is outputting sound. If not, you need to check if there is any sound transmitted from the input source.
- If there is sound from the HDMI output port, try setting the corresponding input source’s audio format to PCM or DD 5.1.
- Check if the battery has run out of power.
- Check if the battery is installed correctly and on the right position.
- When you use the remote controller, it needs to be directly facing the IR receiving window on the front panel of the matrix switch, or directly facing the head of IR receiver cable.
- Check if the connection method of the RS232 cable between the matrix switch and the control PC/system is correct. It should be “TX-RX, RX-TX, GND-GND”.
- Ensure you set the correct parameters for the RS232 port. You can refer to the API command guide on our site.
- Check if you can add the terminators “CR”and “NL” in the command sender.
- Try restarting the matrix switch to check if you can receive restarting feedback from the device. In this way, you can check if the RS232 settings are correct.
- Ensure you have inputted the correct command.
- Try obtaining the correct IP address of the matrix switch via your router or software tool.
- Modify your PC’s firewall settings to allow the browser to access the matrix switch’s IP address.
- If the correct IP address cannot be obtained, try restoring the matrix switch to factory settings through RS232 commands, then try logging in again.
