Troubleshooting FAQ
- Check if you have connected the transmitter to your PC via a USB cable.
- Try connecting the USB cable to another USB port on your PC.
- Try connecting the USB devices to the PC directly without using the KVM extender. Then check if the USB connection works.
- Try plugging in your USB devices if they have an independent power supply.
- Check if the USB devices are compliant with USB 2.0 specification.
- The total USB bandwidth has an upper limit. Please try connecting less USB devices to the receiver.
- Disable the HDCP of your PC’s graphics card.
- Toggle the DIP switch (for EDID setting) on the transmitter to 4K30 or 1080P resolution according to the user manual.
- Check if you have chosen the right HDMI input channel on your display device.
- Check if the “Link” LED indicator is solid on. If not, please check your Cat cable connection.
- Try connecting the PC to the display device directly via an HDMI cable. Then check if there is any video output.
- Check if you have plugged in the transmitter with the included power adapter. This KVM extender supports one-way PoH, so the receiver can be powered by the transmitter.
- Use a new Cat cable, or check if the connectors at both ends of the cable meet the IEEE T568B standard.
- It is recommended to use a Cat5E/6/6A/7 cable, instead of Cat5 or flat cable.
- Check if the total length of your cable is within 100m/330ft.
- Check if the connectors at both ends of the cable meet the IEEE T568B standard.
- Try crimping your Cat cable connectors according to the IEEE T568B standard.
- If you need to use patch cables at both ends, the length should be as short as possible, no more than 5m/16ft. Please note that the total length of the patch cables and the Cat cable should not be over 100m/330ft.
- This KVM extender can only pass through stereo from the local “Audio in” port to the remote “Audio out” port. It doesn’t support audio de-emedding from the HDMI port.
- Please note that the KVM extender can only pass through stereo. It doesn’t support microphone input.
- Check if the connection method of the RS232 cable between the KVM extender and the control/controlled device is correct. It should be “TX-RX, RX-TX, GND-GND”.
- Perform an RS232 loopback test to see if the KVM extender’s RS232 pass-through function can work normally.
- Try connecting the control device and the controlled device directly without using the KVM extender. Then check if the RS232 connection works.

I'm really impressed with the quality of this product. The build is solid and the picture is stunning. Plus, it looks great alongside my other equipment. If you're hesitant about buying it, I'd say go for it - the customer service is fantastic and they'll help you out with any questions you have. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others.
This is what I am looking for. My previous purchase experience is not good. The picture is compressed, laggy and I can barely see texts on the screen clearly. USB extension also buggy because I do not support USB camera and my trackball on Linux. It's happy that this one works well. The picture is clear, no preception lag, trackball works and I can have video conferencing with the USB camera in my room. I should go straight to this one instead of waiting for one month to get the inferior one. A must-have item when you have a large heavy and noisy workstation in your home downstairs and want to work in the bedroom upstairs.
Absolutely plug and play. I ran an unshielded Category 6 cable just a little less than 100 meters in a huge warehouse from the IT room to the main offices. Plugged in the HDMI cable into my NVR which outputs 4K. I have over 45 four megapixel cameras in the NVR. Plugged in the HDMI on the other end and a wireless mouse. You only need power on one side. Now my customer can control the NVR right from the 4K TV in his office and look at the entire facility, zoom in, configure, etc. The display is amazingly crisp and clear. We used a wireless mouse on the receiving end and it also came up right away through the USB port. Great product. I looked at other products costing $700-$800 and read reviews and a lot of time they didn't work as advertised. Ryan at AV Access answered my questions right away by email and made me confident it would work and it did! I picked a winner.
We got a loud game desktop that acts as a space heater. Hence, we moved it to the basement. However, on occasion, we like to use it in the living room, connected to our 4K television. Carrying the bulky desktop up and down stairs proved to be a hassle, and we wanted to keep it connected to the basement's UPS to avoid power surges. I was hesitant to try a solution for fear of video or USB delays. To my surprise, this device works flawlessly with no latency, delivering 4K@60fps and surround audio. Additionally, our USB force feedback steering wheel for racing games performs well, and we can use Xbox USB wireless controller adapters to connect our controllers to the living room. Overall, we are delighted with the device's performance. We use a 100-foot flat Cat6 Ethernet cable for the connection.
I am quite pleased with this product. Recently, I moved my office PC to a VR-dedicated room, but I still needed it for everyday tasks in my office. What attracted me most to this product was its ability to support HDMI, 3.5mm audio, and USB over one Cat5E cable. Everything works well, except that if you are a soundblaster and serious about music and quality audio experience, the 3.5 mm audio port may not satisfy. You may try to add an extra device to bypass the audio from the extender. However, it is enough for monitoring or ordinary use. The PoE function is particularly beneficial. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
