Troubleshooting FAQ
- Check if you have connected the transmitter to your PC via a USB cable.
- Try connecting the USB cable to another USB port on your PC.
- Check if the LED indicator next to the USB port is in normal status (solid on/flashing). If not, please check if you have connected the USB cable properly.
- Try connecting the USB devices to the PC directly without using the KVM extender. Then check if the USB connection works.
- Try plugging in the receiver with the included power adapter. (Neglect this step if you already did)
- Try plugging in your USB devices if they have an independent power supply.
- Check if the USB devices are compliant with USB 2.0 specification.
- Set the HDMI output resolution of your PC to 1080P.
- Check if you have chosen the right HDMI input channel on your display device.
- Check if the “status” LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver are in normal status (solid on).
- Try connecting the PC to the display device directly via an HDMI cable. Then check if there is any video output.
- Use a new Cat cable, or check if your cable meets the standard. It is recommended to use a Cat5E/6/6A/7 cable, instead of Cat5 or flat cable.
- Check if the total length of your cable is within 80m/260ft.
- Check if the connectors at both ends of the cable meet the IEEE T568B standard.
- Try crimping your Cat cable connectors according to the IEEE T568B standard.
- If you need to use patch cables at both ends, the length should be as short as possible, no more than 5m/16ft. Please note that the total length of the patch cables and the Cat cable should not be over 80m/260ft.

This product is amazing! It's incredibly easy to set up and use. I'm currently using it to transmit both the picture and controller signal from my PS4 to another room through walls using cat 6 cables that span about 85 feet. It works like a charm and Im happy with it.
I use these to extend connections at conference room tables and Teams video conferencing. With the two USB ports at the remote/TV end you can connect wireless keyboard/mouse, web cam, USB Hub, USB flash drive. They work perfect. Sometimes the image on the television is not right but the television image settings will correct the issue. No tech support to speak of. But they just work. Use CAT6 or CAT5 on a single cable. Power can be supplied from either local (computer) or remote (television) side using power over ethernet.
This set of HDMI/UTP TX and RX worked very well for me. I needed to get a computer's HDMI output to a conference room in another part of the building. I used the existing IT department data cabling, bypassing all Ethernet equipment, to join the TX and RX together. These are NOT Ethernet based, but use the same copper/UTP cabling as Ethernet. Power LED, Status LED all serve to help in troubleshooting. Chassis are steel, come with mounting brackets/screws. I would buy again. I did not need any tech-support so I left that review blank. Picture quality was hard to judge since my source material was not prime quality to begin with. My customer saw no difference. I am only using it for video content through the HDMI, so I can't attest to any audio/sound performance.
Last September, I bought a couple of these units, and all of them were installed without any issues. They worked flawlessly, but unfortunately, one of the transmitters failed recently. It's what you call an "infant mortality" with electronic equipment. Nonetheless, I contacted the support team, and they were quick to respond and agreed to replace the faulty unit. I sent the defective unit back and the replacement arrived promptly without any hassles. I was impressed with their customer service and support. The replacement unit has been installed, and now all six units are functioning seamlessly without any hiccups. Honestly, this kind of support is what you always hope for but rarely receive. I'm satisfied with the product and their support team's responsiveness.
I can confirm the manufacturer's claim of zero lag. It works very well. My experience: I used it to transfer video and USB from my security system DVR that was located remotely to my desk computer setup, and it worked perfectly fine. However, I was disappointed that no HDMI cable is provided along. Make sure you do have HDMI cables at home. Shall check "what in the box" next time and get everything prepared. I can't hold back any stars for that fact so, good job.
